A CAPS specialist can provide you with a home assessment to determine which modifications would create a friendlier, more accessible living environment.
Specializing in most facets of the home remodeling industry, CSG prides itself on exceeding the expectations of its clients. This includes certification as an Aging-In-Place Specialist through the National Association of Home Builders program. The NAHB has developed this program to provide comprehensive, practical, market-specific training for working with older and maturing adults who may wish to modify their homes in a way that will enhance their advancing lifestyles.
Greater Houston Builder Association (GHBA) presented the Remodeler of the Year Award to our team at Construction Services Group. As a locally owned and operated company, recognized for both our residential and commercial remodeling, we are pleased to have provided our services to more than 4,000 customers over the last four decades. Please consider speaking with a CAPS Specialist at CSG about modifying your home for a safer and more independent future. You’ll understand why “Service is our middle name.”
What Is “Aging-In-Place”?
In plain English, aging-in-place means living in one’s home safely, independently, and comfortably, regardless of age, income, or ability level. It means the pleasure of remaining in a familiar environment throughout one’s maturing years, and the ability to enjoy the familiar daily rituals and special events that enrich all of our lives. It means the reassurance of being able to call a house a home for a lifetime.
Projects for the aging-in-place remodeling segment range from installation of bath and shower grab bars and adjustment of countertop heights, to the creation of multi-functional first-floor master suites and the installation of private elevators. CAPS trained specialists learn the mechanics and nuances of effective assessment of client need, as well as ability to integrate myriad considerations into unified, aesthetically pleasing, functional solutions.
